”I believe that education must be approached on an individual basis. Every student has his or her own unique goals and interests. Quality music education should be available both to the aspiring professional musician, and the student whom wants to play for the fun of it. Because of this I put high priority on tailoring private lessons to the needs and goals of each individual student."

Students of any skill level are welcome, from complete beginners through the professional. Mr. Stief accepts students on saxophone, clarinet, and flute. Students are welcome to study Baritone, Tenor, and Soprano saxophone in addition to, or instead of alto, provided they have their own instrument to use. Mr. Stief has no age maximum that a student may start to learn, and encourages people of any age to learn a new instrument. His minimum age is 3rd grade, however parents whom would like a child to start earlier may contact him, and after review of the child, exceptions on this rule may be made.
