Amanda Perko
|
|
Amanda Perko has her B.A. Music from Berklee College of Music. While there, she focused on vocal performance, songwriting, and music business. Amanda has performed for the last eight years as a country music act, touring the East Coast with her past band. She has opened and performed with such acts as Mark Wills, Tammy Cochran, Charlie Daniels, and Josh Turner.
Having two local cds recorded, after college, Amanda moved to Nashville and recorded a demo. She has participated locally in the York County Honors Choir and PA Ambassadors of Music. She has been and continues to be a cantor at St Joseph Church in York. Amanda has also performed at weddings, as well as many musical theater productions, the last ones including “Beauty and the Beast”, “Scarlet Pimpernel” and “Little Shop of Horrors.”
Amanda believes that music is the miracle of the soul. Though she will happily help students advance in any style of music, her background is heavily country, pop, and more the more contemporary genres.
*Students should bring a notebook and a piece of music to their first lesson, as well as the desire to learn.
