Since relocating to southern Pennsylvania in 1990, Ms. Parker has been very active in the community and church, teaching in the South Eastern District After School Enrichment program and Directing Adult and Children's Choirs at Slateville Presbyterian Church in Delta, Pennsylvania. She has been teaching beginner and advanced piano to both children and adults in her studio since 1999. Piano instruction includes music theory, scales in major, minor, harmonic and melodic. Also classical introduction and ear training.
