Victor Fields is Adjunct Professor of Piano at Mount Saint Mary’s University in Emmitsburg, Maryland In addition, he is Organist and Choirmaster at historic Trinity United Church of Christ in downtown York, Pennsylvania and the staff accompanist for the Harrisburg Choral Society. Mr. Fields currently serves as Dean of the York Chapter of the American Guild of Organists.
He received his undergraduate and graduate music degrees in piano and organ performance from Mansfield University of Pennsylvania, The Peabody Conservatory of Music and the University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music. As a graduate scholarship student, he was the recipient of the Strader organ prize from the Cincinnati College-Conservatory and the Hines organ prize from the Peabody Conservatory. In addition, he has won scholarships from the Harrisburg and Baltimore Chapters of the American Guild of Organists and was a regional competitor in the American Guild of Organists National Organ Playing Competition.
Fields has been a featured guest on WITF-FM public radio “Desert Island Discs” and his biography is included in the 2007 Marquis’ edition of Who's Who in America®.
His recital engagements include numerous repeat performances at Washington National Cathedral, Bruton Parish Church, Colonial Williamsburg, Longwood Gardens, St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church, Hanover and music at Mt. Gretna. He has performed at the Church of the Presidents, Washington, D. C., and at St. Thomas Episcopal Church on Fifth Avenue in New York City and at numerous venues including the Abendmusick series of First Presbyterian Church in York, the Allen Organ Company, and at the Chautauqua music series in Mt. Gretna. He has performed as organ and piano accompanist and soloist with choral tours of England, Yugoslavia and Spain.
Many of his students have won music prizes and scholarships and have gone on to study music in higher education.

- Victor Fields recommends that students use an acoustic or digital piano for practice at home. However, a smaller electronic keyboard is generally acceptable provided it has at least 61 touch-sensitive keys.
