Rhonda Ritenour

Rhonda Ritenour holds a Bachelors degree in music education from Geneva College. She is currently a reliable substitute for several school district such as, Dallastown and Red Lion. During college, her concentration was french horn and she had two years of lessons with the late Dennis Abelson at Carnegie Mellon. She was an active piano accompanist for solo and group performances.
She was involved in the various ensembles such as concert band, marching band, brass ensemble, the Genevans choir and Madrigal Singers.
Rhonda has been running her own music studio for over 5 years. She currently works with various parts of the music programs at Codorus Church of the Brethren and is a substitute horn player for Spring Garden Band.
Although Mrs. Ritenour is fairly new (2 years) to this area, she looks forward to building her new private studio with students of all ages and levels. Lessons may involve written theory, sight-reading, personal compositions and developing correct posture and breathing techniques. Students should bring any lesson books or music they already have or would like to learn. There is a spring recital offered each year.
