Curtis Cooper holds a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from Grove City College and a Master's degree in Music Education from the University of Illinois, and is also a trained and registered Suzuki teacher. He has 31 years public school teaching experience as well as over 15 years private teaching experience. In addition to his teaching career, Mr. Cooper has also been an avid performer. He currently plays with the York Symphony and has for over 25 years. He has also played with the Harrisburg Symphony, numerous ensembles and string quartets, directed the York Chorus, and has been a church organist for the past 30 years. His students hold high level chair positions in their school orchestras and/or in the York Jr. Youth Symphony.
