Mr Ensminger received a B.S. degree in Music Education from Indiana University of Pa and a M.M. degree in Music History from Temple University. While directing choral activities and teaching general music in the Cocalico School District, he also taught private lessons and was a church organist. Now retired from public school, he continues to teach privately and is currently the organist at Salem UCC in Roherstown.
From his experience in public education, he is comfortable in working with special needs children and adapting lesson materials to the learning style of individual students to achieve maximum skill development.
Students with previous training should bring music to play to the first lesson.
